People who support a democratic candidate argue over fine points on universal free health care but what you never hear is any talk of tort reform.

If you believe you are entitled to free health care, will you agree to support new laws preventing trial lawyers from filling up our courts with frivolous law suits and making every health care provider a target for lawsuits?

Why not be like every other nation in the world, who all use the English law system, where the loser pays the winner for damages? Only the USA has a system where anyone can file a law suit demanding excessive compensation & even if they lose the suit, the winning party absorbs excessive costs to defend themselves which in some cases is as much as the plaintiff is seeking in damages.

Ok, I was forced to drive off the road into a ditch yesterday after the truck in front of me lost it’s load of 2×4′s. I hit a highway marker but my vehicle only has some scratches. The Truck didn’t have any plates and it sped away, there were some grungy looking guys in it and I didn’t go after them. Anyway, today I’m in a lot of pain and my back is messed up. I need to go see a Dr, but my husband doesn’t want to report the accident to insurance because then our rates will go up even if it’s not our fault. That’s how Oregon is. We have health insurance but if I say I was injured in an automobile accident they won’t cover it! Suggestions? Help is much appreciated!

i have had this pain for about 2 years now, around my shoulder blade and neck. I went to the chiropractor for about 6 sessions a few months ago and did not do me any good at all. I recently tried massage treatments but pain is still there. =( I want make sure I go to the right type of doctor and the right kind of treatment so I dont end up throwing away good money such as the chiropractor I went to. Please help!!! Thanks!
