People who support a democratic candidate argue over fine points on universal free health care but what you never hear is any talk of tort reform.
If you believe you are entitled to free health care, will you agree to support new laws preventing trial lawyers from filling up our courts with frivolous law suits and making every health care provider a target for lawsuits?
Why not be like every other nation in the world, who all use the English law system, where the loser pays the winner for damages? Only the USA has a system where anyone can file a law suit demanding excessive compensation & even if they lose the suit, the winning party absorbs excessive costs to defend themselves which in some cases is as much as the plaintiff is seeking in damages.
